This course is an introduction to the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Dimensional Solid Modeling (3D), and Building Information Modeling to prepare working drawings of basic components and design assemblies. With a focus on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), students will sketch and develop computer-based solid models to produce para- metric designs and design drawings. Students will also be introduced to 3D printing and assembly.
