Course Description
Students are introduced to a wide range of topics within marine science. This is a survey course intended to provide students with a foundation ion which to build. Topics include marine biology, chemistry, physics, geology, field methods, marine policy, and sustainability at an introductory level. This course incorporates hands-on learning, peer-to-peer learning, and a variety of projects, science writing practices, and collaboration.
